My resolution? 80's Reinvented Vol. 6 and Vol. 7, as well as a 'Greatest Mixes' compilation to be posted for y'all!
Paula Abdul's resolution? To get her beeeotch ass back on TV, and gurlz gone and done it. Whether the show sucks or not, well, good for her! Right?! To commemorate the occasion, I am starting out my next batch of 80's mixes, straight up and knocked out from her first batch of hits from back in the day.

Another extended absence...I KNOW!! But, we all have to pay the bills right.
And then again, my apologies to anyone I offend, but there has been a serious drought of good tracks out there. Aside from a few stand-outs on the charts right now, I have been very hard-pressed to find anything with a good hook worth mixing.
Regardless, I am over a month behind when I normally make the Fall post. I have listened to literally dozens of dance and house tracks floating out there, to get something mixed and together that I think my listeners will enjoy. I am pretty sure I succeeded!

Wow - though overall we have had a drought of good dance music this summer, it has been packed with some of the most infectious hooks to come around in some time.

This is a mix set of some of my favorite tracks of the summer. I always keep these sets under 80 minutes so you can burn them on a CD, so I couldn't fit all the tracks. But these are the highlights.

After a long, long, LONG break from posting, thanks to being lucky enough to have multiple jobs that have kept me busy all summer, I am back and working on new stuff again.
First, a thank you! After years of just thinking that the PayPal button was there to look cool, several listeners sent me donations. Nothing that will make me quit my day-job - I have to pay my rent, so unfortunately I can't post new material every day, but definitely much thanks...I was shocked and amazed to get those thank you's from listeners.
Second, a couple invites to all my listeners - its Market Days in Boyztown, Chicago!! Join me to cool off for Karaoke and all the latest tracks, at Bobby Love's, Saturday August 7. AND join me Saturday September 5, 2010, for the White Party, at Bobby Love's. I will run through the best tracks of the summer, and debut my Fall Mix 2010 (coming soon).

Summer's just around the corner, but the music is here! Thank you again to all the patient subscribers and listeners, that have been waiting for some new material over the past month and a half. I am back, and the set is on! There are some real club bangers in this one. For those of you who liked last summers "I Want Your Sex" remake by Jipsta, you're gonna love "Nasty Boy". Trust me.

Springing forward with a little bit of a deeper house mix than usual.
The pop charts have been a bit pale so far in 2010 - way too much mass produced hip-hop so far this year. So I have had my I-Pod tuned into a bit heavier house than usual. Chart friendly, but rippin' a much darker groove than my long term listeners are used to. I have mixed in a few disco'y tracks, as well as closing out with some rock remixes. The Outfield and U2 tracks are hot!

Screw the calendar, and who cares if at this particular moment we are freezing our *sses off in Chicago. Bring the heat on the floor. Definitely a long time coming, this is the fifth collection of my sliced and diced 80's tracks. This particular collection represents my favorite tracks from over the past 2 years. I have several new 80's remixed tracks in the works, and some remakes of fan favorites from earlier on in my effort. This will be compiled into a 80's Reinvented Greatest Hits continuous mix. New tracks being considered include Fleetwood Mac, Madonna, Paula Abdul, Sting and Roxette.

HAPPY MAY DAY LISTENERS AND SUBSCRIBERS!
Apologies for my extended absence. I moved, and have worked a lot of Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, which really wipes you out after a while. Not to mention my day job, which has been fairly all consuming lately. And yet, you have all kept me consistently in Podomatics Top 50 overall world wide, the Top 10 in Electronic world wide, and we are still Number 2 in Chicago overall!!! THANKS!!!
